Before you can apply to attend a training course you need to have adequate literacy and hold a NSW work cover construction induction card or equivalent and hold or have previously held one of the two options below;

• A NSW P2 Drivers license or equivalent or higher or
• A NSW Traffic Controller Photo ID card (expired within the last two years)

The above requisites are set out by Roads and Maritime Services.
Please refer to the course overviews found on the RMS website.

There are four traffic control training course widely available throughout New South Wales.

• Traffic Controller (Blue card) – course duration is one day.
• Apply Traffic Control Plans (Yellow card) – course duration is one day.
• Prepare a work zone traffic management plan – course duration is 3 days.

As a minimum our traffic controllers must hold a valid Traffic controller (Blue card) and apply traffic control plans (Yellow card)

AAA Traffic Control is open 24 hours 7 days a week. AAA Traffic Control responds to roadside hazard, and accident emergencies. AAA Traffic Control’s prompt, reliable and flexible service allows us to attend any given situation with excellent timeframes; including:

• Accident recovery
• Environmental accidents i.e. flooding, falling trees, and etc.
• Pot Hole Repair
• Road resurfacing

Our traffic controllers have the ability and qualifications to respond to any given situation, complete with our emergency response trucks including all resources such as signage, equipment and control devices. AAA Traffic Control’s commitment extends to assisting and working together with local governing agencies such as local councils, ambulance, fire and police departments in times of need.
