Occupying the roadway or public way will require approval from the relevant authority first. This could mean obtaining a Road Occupancy Licence from Transport for NSW (TfNSW) , a Stand Plant Permit or Temporary Works Permit from the local Council, a Police Permit, obtaining approval from the Transit Authority, Stakeholder Approvals or a combination of any of these.

The process of obtaining these permits and traffic control approvals can be frustrating and time-consuming as there is a lot of red tape involved. AAA Traffic Control offers an administration service for permit applications and authority liaisons so that you can focus on what you do best.

We have been in this industry for over 18 years, and in this time, we have established good working relationships with local authorities in NSW, Councils, the Police, TfNSW and STA. We understand their operations and will be able to save you time in getting approvals.

AAA Traffic Control will collaborate with you to understand the requirements of your project then design or review your Traffic Management Plan to optimise them to the standard required for quick approval if needed. Different governing bodies and Councils have different approval times, but our experience will allow us to advise you correctly so that you are not late in approval submissions. With AAA Traffic Control, we take charge of your project and ensure there will be no disruptions to your work or fines imposed due to non-compliance, as we are familiar with all the obstructions you are likely to encounter on the way to approval. We will liaise with all relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure that all the tasks related to the project are clearly explained and agreed upon before the commencement of the project.
